How to get to Nyande
Step 1: Fly to Sorong
Fly to Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ) in Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia.
Step 2: Travel to the Ferry Terminal
Upon arrival in Sorong, you can take a taxi or private car to the ferry terminal. The typical cost is approximately IDR 150,000.
Step 3: Take the Ferry to Waisai
Ferry tickets are currently:

Economy Class: IDR 125,000 per person

VIP Class: IDR 250,000 per person
Ferry Schedule (Effective 1 June 2026)
Sorong ⇄ Waisai
Monday to Saturday
2:00 PM only
Sunday
9:00 AM & 2.00 PM
The above schedule applies in both directions (Sorong to Waisai and Waisai to Sorong).
Important: Ferry schedules are subject to change with little or no notice. We recommend confirming departure times before travelling.
Step 4: Transfer from Waisai to Nyande
Upon your arrival in Waisai, we will meet you and arrange your transfer to Nyande by boat.
Boat Transfer: IDR 1,000,000 per boat, one way
If other Nyande guests are travelling on the same transfer, the boat cost will be shared between all Nyande guests onboard. Please note that transfer costs cannot be shared with guests staying at other accommodations.
Optional Transfer Booking Service
We can arrange your ground transportation in Sorong and pre-book your ferry tickets for your convenience.
Booking & Coordination Fee: IDR 350,000
If you would like us to arrange these services, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to assist.
If you wish to bypass the ferry altogether. Then we can arrange a private speed boat transfer directly from Sorong to Nyande.
